The Pan-American Lacrosse Association (PALA) Election
Committee confirmed the results of the recent PALA Board elections and announced
Ann Kitt-Carpenetti has been elected as Board President and Oscar Castillo Morales
and Marisa DiBari have been elected to the Board.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ann, Marisa and Oscar to the PALA Board of Directors, said
Election Committee Chair”, Miguel Lozada. “As a young Continental Federation, PALA
was pleased to see the quality and quantity of candidates who applied with interest in
serving on the PALA Board for our first ever Board election. Each individual brings a
unique experience to the Board that will help to amplify and reflect the diverse
perspectives of the members within our region. I want to share a special congratulations
to Ann Kitt-Carpenetti who has been elected to the Board after having served as
interim-President since 2022 and as a founding member since 2018, where she will
continue to be an integral member of our executive leadership.”

PALA President Ann Kitt-Carpenetti: “On behalf of the Pan-American Lacrosse
Association Board, congratulations to Marisa and Oscar on their election to the PALA
Board. I’m proud and honored to have been elected by the members to the role of
Board President. I’m thankful to the founding Board members whose foundational work
has positioned PALA well for the future. Working with the dedicated members of the
PALA Board while representing the Continental Federation overseeing the most diverse
and competitive lacrosse playing region in the world, is a tremendous privilege and I
look forward to working with new leadership to support our member nations efforts to
grow lacrosse, for men and women, at all levels.”
